We invite you to join the Alberta Co-op and Sabin CDC in offering support to folks right here in our neighborhood who might need just a little extra to help make ends meet. You can donate directly by visiting Sabin CDC online, or by rounding up at the register during any of your visits to the co-op this May
What is Sabin CDC?
The Sabin CDC are our neighbors! They’re office is just across the street from the co-op and they share our mission to foster healthy and diverse communities here in Portland. At Sabin they work toward social equity and stabilizing & improving the livability of culturally diverse Portland neighborhoods by assuring the availability of long-term affordable housing for low & moderate income residents. They also encourage community partnerships for local economic development, and offer youth & senior programs.
What’s the Tennant Micro Loan Fund?
It’s a way in which tenants of Sabin can request small, interest-free loans to take on the unexpected little expenses that can make a big difference to low-income families.
