Charoset
Charoset is a traditional Passover dish of apples, walnuts, wine and honey, served as part of the Seder ritual.   1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples, walnuts and raisins. In a cup, stir the red wine or grape juice, honey, lemon zest and cinnamon. When well mixed, pour over the apple mixture. Add a pinch of salt, if desired, and toss to mix.
  2. Serve immediately, or cover tightly and refrigerate for later.
